How are you in the midst of this global pandemic?

Hey blog-lovers, it took me some time to get back to all of you as I was personally busy with my higher studies. Although we are already in the month of December of this year and a few weeks more for Christmas, I personally feel as if this year just started off. 2020 seems to have passed much quickly than any other years, and honestly, it was not a pleasant year at all.

However, I thought of sharing some tips with my readers that I believe would help you get over the stress level created through the chaotic environment as that of the one we are currently living in. I'd suggest that you also read one of my previous Blog posts on How to get rid of Stress and see if that is of any use.

With the busy lifestyle that all of us follow regardless of whichever country we live in, we are always chasing our dreams and work for a better tomorrow. Life has been much difficult to many who have been confined to their living spaces, making it much harder to even cultivate the strength to face the society. Yet, this is the time that we need each others help more than ever.

You might have heard and read about many things regarding this virus throughout the year. So, I am not going to waste more time on that anymore. Instead, I thought of suggesting a few things you could do while staying at home during this period, if you are in the middle of a lockdown area in any part of the world.

Dos:

- If you have a garden area, you could start the hobby of gardening. It could be flowers or even any type of vegetables that you'd like to eat. Obtaining seeds won't be much difficult if you opt to grow something easy like green chili or tomatoes.

- If you like books and you have pilled up some 'to read' books, you could get your hands on to them. To make the process much exciting, you could join book clubs on social media that would be a platform to share your thoughts and comments with those of similar taste in books. This really works, trust me!!!

- If you enjoy photographing everything under the sun, you could think of some creative ways to improve your skills while staying indoors. (Like making your pet a super model).

- If you have access to resources, you could try some new recipes or even try cooking some of your cravings that you might come across in videos.

- Watch movies and TV series you might have missed previously because of been busy with your daily work.

- Eat healthy all the times. This helps you to maintain a healthy immune system.

- Try to keep in touch with your friends through video call or group chat so that you won't miss them too much.

- Most importantly, try to spend more time with your family. You might have missed a lot of valuable occasions with your family members because of been busy with either work or studies. So try to use this time to make up for it at least to some extent. You could also try doing all of the above with your family. Imagine gardening with all your siblings and your parents, would definitely be full of laughter and fun.

Although these are only a few tips that came to my mind, you might have more things to add to make this a huge list.

THE BIG DON'T:

- Avoid reading, watching and listening too much about the virus. Its good to know about some updated info and know what you can do to be safe, but it is definitely unhealthy to constantly go through stuff regarding it.

This difficult period would soon fade away and lets hope for it to be sooner than later. We just need to be mentally and physically strong to face this. The strength is however something we need to cultivate on our own, within ourselves. Never think you are alone and always try to do something that would take your mind away from things that stress you the most.

I hope this post was at least of some use for all my readers. Leave a comment if you'd like to share your thoughts with me.

Stay Happy!!! Stay Safe!!!
